In the Tuscan
countryside about fifteen minutes outside Pisa, my family recently
has renovated a century-old farmhouse where my mother Laura is hosting
cooking classes. For two weeks this summer I will be hosting classes
of my own at the farm in Tuscany.
Each class runs for one week. Attendees leave New York on a Saturday
night and arrive in Pisa Sunday morning (Delta Airlines offers non-stop
flights from New York JFK to Pisa). Each room in the house is double
occupancy. Classes are held during the week on the property and each
day we break for lunch as a group.
During the course of the week, we will take excursions to the food
markets in Florence and dine out in neighboring towns. On the final
night, a local pizzaiolo will come by the house to make Tuscan-style
pies with us.
The first of the two classes hosted by me runs from June 28th to July
5th and the second from July 5th to July 12th. The June 28th class
is nearly sold-out but we still have plenty of availability for the
July 5th class. If there is interest in other dates, or if large groups
would like to book together, I’ll readily consider hosting more
classes throughout the summer.
For further information and photos of the property, as well as for
all booking inquiries, you may visit my mother’s website at www.laurastuscancooking.com.
To ensure all inquiries are received and handled properly, please
use this address exclusively for the cooking classes.
Thank you for all of your support. I’m looking forward hearing from
you, and hope to see you this summer.
Best,
Marco
