Hearth Home

Along with the rest of the world, we are shocked and stunned by the devastation and human suffering presently going on in Haiti. The events have particularly hit home for us as one of our own staff members was born in Haiti and has many friends and family there at the moment.

In support of him and all those immediately affected by the tragedy, on Tuesday, January 19th, Hearth donated 50% of our gross revenues received that evening to help fund the relief effort.

January 20th Update: With your help we raised over $7,700.00 last night. We are donating it to Partners in Health.

Last night was an incredible night for Hearth. The response was overwhelming from our supporters and we couldn't be more proud of our staff; everyone was passionate about what we were doing, driven and happy to be a part of something so much greater than anyone can fathom right now.

From the beginning of the evening, the restaurant was jam-packed and there was both a sense of joy tempered with a somber realization of what this coming together meant. The gratitude people expressed to us was both flattering and sobering due to the feeling that we are only a small drop in the bucket of support that must be extended to the people of Haiti right now.

As a community we acted swiftly, decisively and our supporters came out in droves. Great, great night. Well done, everyone. We are proud to be a part of this effort and this city.
